Mamallapuram, or Mahabalipuram, is a town on a strip of land between the Bay of Bengal and the Great Salt Lake, in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for its temples and monuments built by the Pallava dynasty in the 7th and 8th centuries. The seafront Shore Temple comprises 3 ornate granite shrines. Krishna’s Butter Ball is a massive boulder balanced on a small hill near the Ganesha Ratha stone temple.

Intinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Chennai – Kanjipuram –Vellore    

Night stay: Chennai

Half day Chennai Local visits. Places Covered: Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St. George, Government Museum and Marina beach.  

Day 02: Chennai – Kancipuram – Vellore                     

Night stay: Vellore

 After breakfast proceed to Kanchipuram (75  Kms)/1.5hrs). Visit Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Kamakshi Temple, Sriperambadur (Rajiv Gandhi Memorial). Then proceed to Vellore (75 Kms/ 1.5hrs). Transfer to Hotel. Overnight Stay.

Day 03: Vellore – Tiruvannamalai – Pondicheri    

Night stay: Pondicheri

After breakfast departure to Pondicherry enroute visit Vellore Golden Temple, Thirivannamalai (90Kms /2Hrs) Arunachaleswar Temple, Ramana Maharshi Ashram, later proceed to Pondicherry(100Kms/ 2hrs). Transfer to Hotel. Overnight Stay.

Day 04: Pondicherry – Mahabalipuram            

Night stay: Mahabalipuram

 After breakfast Local visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Ganesh Mandir. And proceed to Mahabalipuram (100Kms / 2hrs).Transfer to Hotel. Local visit Pallava’s Panch Rathas, Arjun Shilanyas. Evening have fun in the beach. Overnight Stay.

Day 05: Mahabalipuram – Chennai

After breakfast departure to Chennai. (60Kms/ 1.5hrs) Enroute visit Vgp Golden Beach, Muthukadu Boat house, Crocodile Park and drop at Chennai. Tour concludes.

• All the passengers are requested to carry Govt. approved photo identity &Two passport size photographs.
• The Management reserves the right to make changes enroute or omit any places to visit if it becomes necessary.
• In case of child fare ticket, no extra bed will be provided and they have to share with the parent’s room.
• According to number of  people in the tour, the vehicle can be changed from a bus to a small tempo traveller/Innova
• The reservation of train tickets will start 60 days prior to our onward journey, according to the railway reservation system.
• Senior citizens (male – 60 yrs & above)(Female – 58 Yrs & above) are eligible for a concession of 40% & 50% accordingly on train fare.
• Tour Timings/Itinerary/Tour-Fare are  subject to change. Yathri Tours & Travels reserves the right to alter, amend or even cancel any tour depending on the exigencies of the occasion, without assigning any reason.
• Jurisdiction: Place of Arbitration/Jurisdiction will be Ernakulam.

Reservation
Reservation could be made through mail or phone clearly stating the services required. We take the undertaking process of these reservations and duly confirmed the arrangements. An advance payment is required to secure confirmed booking of your program and balance payment in on commencement of Journey.

Mode of Payment
50% of total tour cost on booking, balance amount before 7 days of commencement of the journey.

Cancellation Policy
Every booking made on Yathri Tours & Travels  is subject to cancellation charges levied by the airlines, hotels and transport operators. As per the airline policy, some fares are non refundable
